Marconi Kite
A truly unique kite design, the Marconi is a high stable flyer,
souring gracefully in the upper reaches that most kites will never
reach. The Marconi is named after the famed scientific pioneer Guglielmo Marconi who made the first trans-Atlantic wireless
transmission in history by raising an antenna 400' into the air with a large kite!
Although this design doesn't really resemble the kite Marconi used
in December of 1901, it does carry the proud heritage of generations
of high altitude kites. A very sophisticated design, the Marconi is
best in light to moderate winds but will handle itself well when the
winds aloft pick up. If you're ready for something truly different,
you'll love flying the Marconi!
